I 25 år har Lego och Star Wars, via Lucasfilm, samarbetat. Det firar man nu under hela året och förstås lite extra den 4 maj 2024, mer känt i denna kontext som “May The Fourth”.
I mars kom nya legobyggnader i form av en rymdskeppskollektion med helt nya produkter inspirerade av “Millennium Falcon” och “Invisible Hand”-skeppen. Dessutom två byggsatser inspirerade av “Tantive IV”-skeppet och en speciell jubileumssats till R2-D2:s ära.
“The LEGO Star Wars collaboration has enjoyed a most impressive 25 years with products, video games, animated content, big builds, merchandise, and more! We want to celebrate all those years and milestones with everyone who helped us get here, but especially with the fan community as we would never be where we are today without their creativity and passion”, säger Mike Ilacqua, produktchef på LEGO Group.
Igår, den 1 maj, släpptes ytterligare produkter i samband med jubileumet. Däribland en uppdaterad version av LEGO Star Wars visuella ordbok som också kommer med en exklusiv ny minifigur.
