Under söndagskvällen svensk tid nåddes vi av den tragiska nyheten att basketlegenden och Los Angeles Lakers-ikonen Kobe Bryant omkommit i en helikopterolycka. Flera obekräftade uppgifter spreds snabbt via sociala medier, bland annat att alla hans fyra barn också var ombord helikoptern, men nu har man identifierat sex av de nio omkomna i kraschen. Förutom Bryant ska också hans 13-åriga dotter Gianna befunnit sig på helikoptern, tillsammans med sin jämnåriga lagspelare Alyssa Altobelli och hennes föräldrar samt assisterade tränaren Christina Mauser. Alla involverade i olyckan ska ha omkommit.
Sources: Kobe Bryant was on his way to a travel basketball game with his daughter Gianna when the helicopter crashed. Those aboard the helicopter also included another player and parent.

Bryant och de andra var på väg till en ungdomsturnering i hans sportcenter “Mamba Sports Academy” väster om Los Angeles när deras privathelikopter kraschade. Kobe Bryant blev 41 år gammal.
