Mest känd för sin roll i "Maffiabröder".
Under natten kom den tråkiga nyheten att skådespelaren Ray Liotta gått bort under torsdagen. Deadline var först med att rapportera den omtyckta skådisen gått bort i sömnen, medan han tillsammans med sin fästmö befann sig i Dominikanska Republiken där han spelade i en kommande film.
Liotta gjorde ett antal minnesvärda roller i sin karriär, men är kanske mest känd för sin porträttering av Henry Hill i Martin Scorseses “Maffiabröder”. Han medverkade senast i “Sopranos”-föregångaren “The Many Saints of Newark” där han spelade dubbla roller.

I samband med beskedet har en rad kollegor och vänner uttryckt sin sorg via sociala medier. Däribland Viola Davis, Seth Rogen, Lorraine Bracco och Alessandro Nivola. Liotta blev 67 år gammal.
