Både Redman och Eminem anses vara bland de mest framstående MC:s som varit i ett mickbås. Under radioshowen ”The All Out Show” – som gästades av Redman – kunde man plötsligt höra en bekant röst. Nämligen Eminem. Detroit-rapparen ringde in för att prata med en av sina idoler sedan länge, och berättade om den gången när han ”was on some fan shit” och fotade Redmans hus i ung ålder.

“A couple of weeks ago, I was cleaning out my closet — pun intended — and ran across this old picture, and I was like, ’What the fuck is this?. I realized, the first time I ever went to New York — I actually went to New York and then we went to Jersey — me and Bizarre went to record with the Outsidaz, And we had actually ended up stopping by your house. So I’m like, ’Oh, shit! That’s the picture I took out the back window of your house.’ On some fan shit. You know, it was like, ’Holy shit! That’s Redman’s house.’ I had my little automatic, instant camera and took the picture and shit. I’m like, fuck, I forgot I did that.”

Eminem, som nyligen hittade det gamla fotot, bad om en autograf från Redman någon gång i framtiden. Något som han självklart gick med på. Kanske till och med ganska snart om Eminem svarar ”Ja” på att medverka på hans nya album.

“I catch flack for saying you’re ranked up there with Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas. That Muddy Waters album is what I’m doing next and possibly I can get another track for you.”
