Jedi Mind Tricks-rapparen släpper idag nya skivan med gäster som Immortal Technique, Mobb Deep, Kool G Rap, Q-Unique, La Coka Nostra och många fler.

I december kommer Vinnie Paz till Sverige med nya albumet “God Of The Serengeti” i bagaget och det är rapparens senaste soloprojekt via bolaget Enemy Soil Records. Med bakgrund i Jedi Mind Tricks har Vinnie Paz långtsamt byggt en solid skara fans som följer med på en resa i mörka ljudlandskap där det målas upp bilder av ett samhälle i förfall. Nya albumet innehåller produktion av DJ Premier, Marco Polo, Havoc, Mr Green och fler, samt gästas av Immortal Technique, Mobb Deep, Kool G Rap, Q-Unique, La Coka Nostra och en rad kollaboratörer.

Bara några timmar efter att skivan släppts i USA skrev Vinnie Paz ett öppenhjärtligt brev till sina fans:

i’m honored to make music for a living. i’m not the best rapper in the world. i don’t have the best voice. and despite many offers, i’m not supported by the machine, or a major label. what i DO have is an unparalleled passion for music, and a work ethic that was handed down to me from my parents and my big brother, Lenny. music is my weapon. forged with divine and creative fire. my record has only been out for 325 minutes, and i’ve been bombarded with some of the the most kind, warm words of my career. i’d like to think i’m getting better with age. either way, i’m very proud of my new record. everything is good right now. God is good. i just hope my pop, my nan, and step-pop are proud of me. i do this for them. and my family who are still with me in the physical. without them, i’m a dead man. so, thanks for showing me love for the past 20 years. i’m humbled…Vinnie Paz aka Boxcutta PAZZY!!!
