New York-rapparen släpper ny singel från kommande albumet "P.T.S.D." ute 15:e april.

En av hiphop-världens mest uppskattade MC:s är utan tvekan Pharoahe Monch som med sitt nasala och finurliga framförande vokalt knappast lämnar någon oberörd. Med ett flertal hyllade Organized Konfusion-album (med Prince Po) under 1990-talet debuterade Pharoahe på Rawkus 1999 med skivan “Internal Affairs”.

Den 15:e april är det dags för rapparens fjärde soloalbum, “P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)”, som släpps via W.A.R. Media/Duck Down Music. Skivan gästas av Black Thought, Talib Kweli, DeNaUn samt innehåller produktion av Marco Polo, Lee Stone, Quelle Chris med flera. Nu släpper Pharoahe en ny låt från skivan till förhandslyssning, med gästande Black Thought från The Roots samt DJ Revolution. Låten är producerad av Marco Polo.

 

 

Pharoahe Monch re-emerges with a new concept project which finds the ground-breaking emcee tackling PTSD; a severe anxiety disorder that can develop after exposure to any event that results in psychological trauma. Throughout the duration of the LP, Monch narrates as an independent artist weary from the war against the industry machine and through the struggle of the black male experience in America.
