Igår kväll gick American Music Awards av stapeln och där besökarna fick se ett rejält rockigt framträdande av Post Malone för låten “Take What You Want”. Efter att ha framfört hiten “Circles” bjöd han upp gästande Travis Scott och Ozzy Osbourne på scenen, där den senares närvaro får ses som en comeback efter flera år av hälsoproblem.
På galan tog Post Malone även hem AMA-priset för Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album i konkurrens mot just Travis Scotts “AstroWorld” och Meek Mills “Championships”, bland andra. Det gjorde han dessutom för andra året i rad, då han även vann kategorin i fjol för albumet “Beerbongs & Bentleys”.
“I’m not too good at talking in front of people but I just want to say thank you so much to everybody who showed love and support. Honestly, words cannot express how grateful and thankful I am for everything that y’all show me. Thank you for all the fans for showing love and support. We busted our ass for it. We love you very much and I love grapes”, sa han under sitt tacktal.
