Royce Da 5’9” kritiserar kommande Slaughterhouse-släpp

I åratal har fans av Slaughterhouse önskat om ett nytt projekt från supergruppen. Inom kort kommer till slut ett typ av sådant, men allt är inte frid och nöjd. Snarare tvärtom.

Under helgen kommenterade forne medlemmen Royce Da 5’9” det kommande projektet “Rise & Fall Of Slaughterhouse” – ett gemensamt projekt av kollegorna Joell Ortiz och KXNG Crooked. Rocye kommenterade släppet med en bild av en brinnande gris, som också återfinns på omslaget för albumet. Han presenterade också en målande analogi om fyra personer som byggt ett hus varpå två av dem bestämmer sig för att bränna ner det utan de resterande två personernas tillåtelse.

“You have 25 percent ownership/equity in a building… Let’s say an apartment building… You built this building with your three partners, brick by brick.. It’s worth millions.. Suddenly, the value drops because it needs renovations etc .. You and your partners have been talking about when and how this work is gonna get done.. Y’all just need to agree on plan of attack.”

De tre partners som nämns är förstås Ortiz, Crooked och Joe Budden.

“Meanwhile: You and just one of the other partners receive an offer 2 build another building together but with just the 2 of you… Minus your other 2 partners… Yes… There’s a check involved,” he continued. “BUT… Just One Catch: You have to burn down the building you already have without informing your other 2 partners in order to do so… Would you do it??? Didn’t think so… Me either …”

Inlägget fick blandade reaktioner av fans, där vissa förstår Joell Ortiz och KXNG Crookeds vilja att bygga vidare på arvet. Joe Budden verkar dock dela Royces uppfattning och kommenterade “SMH” på inlägget.
