Nicki Minaj till hård attack mot Jay-Z: “Your hatred for Birdman, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!!”

Efter att Lil Wayne nekats chansen att uppträda under Super Bowl.

Nicki Minaj gav sig igår in i debatten kring Super Bowl och valet att ignorera Lil Wayne till förmån för Kendrick Lamar. Och hon höll inte tillbaka.

Med en rad aggressiva inlägg på X tycktes hon attackera Jay-Z specifikt och menade bland annat att hans “hat” mot Young Money Cash Money-gänget varit anledningen till att Lil Wayne ignorerats, trots att Super Bowl anordnas i hans hemstad New Orleans.

“One n***a took a knee. The other n***a took the bag. He gon get you ‘n*****s’ in line every fkng time. … Got everything in the world. Still spiteful & evil. Disgusting. Be happy Abeg. Go be fang happy n***a!!!!! In rap business. In women business. When you got the politicians & the police you good tho. Plus dat ugly laugh taffy alien”, skrev hon bland annat igår kväll svensk tid.

Ännu tydligare blev det i ett annat inlägg där hon retweetade en person som uppmärksammade henne på att Roc Nation, som som bekant är partner med NFL för musikinnehållet, dyker upp i alla sökresultat på X (tidigare Twitter).

“Yup. Everyone’s aware. Clearly they don’t care. So why should I? What ima do Chi? Tried to tell y’all but y’all wanted brunch LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO I’M ON A FKNG ROLL. WAIT. HACKED. HACKED”, skrev hon till synes ironiskt med referens till Roc Nations mytomspunna brunchfester som i flera år samlat den absoluta branscheliten.

Nicki brukade själv delta i bruncherna, men har inte synts till på tillställningarna sedan hon avslutade sitt förhållande med Meek Mill 2017. Tidigare i år ryktades det om osämja mellan henne, Jay-Z och Beyoncé efter att hon anklagat Roc Nation för att promota Megan Thee Stallions disslåt “Hiss”, riktad mot just Nicki. I januari hotade hon också med att “avslöja” Roc Nation-vd:n Desiree Perez.

Hon ägnade också ett par inlägg till ett direkt försvarstal för Lil Wayne, som hon såklart anser borde ha fått äran att uppträda under halvtidsshowen.

“You don’t know half of what Lil Wayne has done for me & others. Wayne had Drake & I on his tour w/no papers signed. He was on all of my mixtapes w/no tapes signed. This man has literally changed the FACE of hip hop. … He never was in this for the money. It’s always been for the love of music.”

Hon menade att Jay-Z valt bort Lil Wayne på grund av personliga skäl.

“Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego. Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! LIL WAYNE!!!!!! THE GOAT ?!!!!!!! Nola what’s good?!!!!!! Eminem stood firm on having 50 Cent come out. A white man. Shit sad. House n****r tingz. But it’s GOOD FI DEM!!!!!! No loyalty? Well Then n****z will keep son’ing you!!!!”

Hon fortsatte med att påpeka att vi måste ge våra ikoner deras blommor medan de lever.

“God forbid if Wayne was to leave this earth right now, the culture would be in mourning. That’s why so many ppl keep saying to give our legends their flowers while they are still around to smell them. Sitting around all day playing games with ppl life & legacy. God ain’t sleep.
