I sommar släpper Atlantarapparen Jeezy sin nya bok ”Adversity For Sale”. Med boken vill han dela med sig av sin livsresa, med fokus på artistkarriären, och informera up-and-coming rappare om det han lärt sig genom åren så att de inte ska behöva gå igenom samma saker.
Boken beskrivs enligt följande av förlaget:
“Jeezy knows what it’s like when you don’t know how you’re going to make it to the next day, but he’s a winner and a motivator. He hates to lose, and that’s what he preaches. His mission in life is to touch the hearts of men. That’s why he’s seen all of the stuff he’s seen and lived through everything he’s lived through. That’s why he’s here”.
Om boken säger Jeezy:
“Sometimes you have to go through some things – even some things that are excruciating and that you think you’ll never survive—in order to get where you want to be”.
Han delar även med sig om sina känslor kring boksläppet i ett inlägg på Instagram där han skriver:
“This is for all my day ones and everybody that’s been down with me since the beginning. This is the greatest story never told. In this motivational memoir, I use parts of my life story, every step, every mishap, every up and down that I’ve gone through to get to this point in my life to motivate the hustlers, entrepreneurs, and believers”.
