I vintras kom nyheten att Jay Z blir den första rapparen någonsin som röstas in i Songwriters Hall of Fame – och gör därmed artister som Otis Redding och David Bowie bland många fler sällskap. Under torsdagen hölls en ceremoni där Shawn Carter, Jay Z, blev officiellt invald i detta musikens finrum för låtskrivare.
I samband med detta tog Jay Z till Twitter för att själv “pay dues” och visa vilka inspirationskällor han har. Det slutade med en lista på över 90 (!) rappare. Se nedan:

In the middle of all of those tweets, Jay provided a link to a Dropbox file. That file contained a speech from Barack Obama, where the ex-president congratulated the rapper. The video was quickly gone. Lucky, this Twitter user was able to save it and then post it.
