I början av november firade Wu-Tang Clan 30 år sedan debutalbumet “Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers”. Nu ska en av klanens mest profilerade och produktiva rappare, Ghostface Killah, släppa en självbiografi som även inkluderar bildmaterial från fyra decennier. Den nu 53-årige Dennis Coles, mest känd som Ghostface, ska i boken gestalta livet och karriären och beskrivs via förlaget:

“Ghost’s autobiography, is intense rather than comprehensive, looking back at his childhood in Staten Island, his commitment to his family (including a brother with muscular dystrophy) and lifelong sidekicks, how crime and violence have affected his life, his fellow Wu-Tang members, a formative touring trip to Japan in 1997, and his art.”

Tidigare har andra Wu-Tang Clan-medlemmar släppt biografiska böcker; U-God gav 2018 ut “Raw: My Journey Into the Wu-Tang Clan” och Raekwon gav 2021 ut “From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan”. RZA har även släppt boken “The Wu-Tang Manual”.

Ghostface Killahs självbiografi “Rise of a Killah – My Life In The Wu-Tang” släpps 14 maj 2024 via förlaget Macmillan.
