Fat Joe uppmanar den yngre generationen att vara mindre mobilberoende: ”You live once. Enjoy your life”

Fat Joe har ett råd till konsertbesökare: Lägg ned mobilen och njut av livet.

Under en Instagram Live-session i förra veckan tryckte hiphoplegenden på vikten av att leva i nuet och särskilt när det kommer till konserter och andra live-events. Han sa då:

“We live one life … If you go to a show, and you pull your camera out and you’re recording, you’re not really in the moment. You’re recording what’s going on. You’re not enjoying it. If you know how to live in the moment … Put some fire signs if you understand what I’m saying. If you don’t then you lost, ’cause this social media got n***as lost. If you can feel the moment, if you can be in the moment, not recording … You can live in the moment”.

Joe fortsatte och uppmanade även hans följare att följa sina drömmar och göra det som gör de lyckliga.

“Listen guys, you only live once. There’s never been nobody on earth, that I know of, to make a U-turn and come back. You have to make the best of your life while you’re here … Some people don’t care about material things, some people don’t care about money. Maybe just being with your family makes you happy, you’re in the moment. You’re doing what makes you happy”.

Han förklarade även att leva i nuet är vad som har hjälpt honom att bli mer tacksam, vilket han nu uppmuntrar den yngre generationen till att ta efter.

“Go for what you know, don’t make no excuses. Invest. You want to open a business, invest. You got the mn=ney you saved up. If you lose, save up some more money and invest again. Nobody makes it on the first try … And when you fall and you lose, it’s just an experience to help you for the future. You live once. Enjoy your life”.
