Amazon Music satsar ordentligt på rap just nu. Tidigare idag kom nyheten att man livestreamar Kendrick Lamars Paris-stopp på “The Big Steppers Tour” och nu står det även klart att man rekryterat 2 Chainz för deras nya konsert- och intervjuprogram “Amazon Music Live”.

Programmet får premiär den 27 oktober då Lil Baby agerar första gäst. Han kommer framföra låtar från sitt nya album “It’s Only Me” och därefter sitta ner med 2 Chainz för en intervju. Megan Thee Stallion och country-stjärnan Kane Brown är gäster i avsnitt två som sänds den 3 november.

Vad gäller 2 Chainz så kunde vi nyligen höra hans första nya låt på ett tag, “2 Step”, i den nysläppta trailern för nyversionen av filmen “House Party”. Nyversionen av filmen som först släpptes 1990 annonserades redan 2018 och producenter är LeBron James och Maverick Carter. 2 Chainz samarbetade även nyligen med The Isley Brothers på låten “The Plug”.
