Westside Boogie tillbaka med nytt album på Shady Records – gästas av Smino, Soulja Boy och Snoop Dogg

Det har snart gått fem år sedan Compton-rapparen Westside Boogie signade till Shady Records. Dessförinnan hade han släppt ett antal uppmärksammade mixtapes som skapade surr på västkusten. Efter kontraktet med Shady fick han stort genomslag efter uppträdande med Eminem för en BET-cypher följt av en debutsingel med Masego. Debutalbumet på bolaget kom 2019 där Eminem gästade på låten “Rainy Days”.

Nu är Westside Boogie tillbaka med nya albumet “More Black Superheroes” där bland annat Smino, Soulja Boy och Snoop Dogg gästar. I ett inlägg på Instagram beskriver Boogie sina känslor inför den nya releasen:

“this shit feels unreal to me honestly it could be because I’m drunk in New York but naw..First off I want y’all to know I would not be here without the support system from y’all :.even when y’all cusssing me out I know it comes from a place of love and it kept me going ..I’ve grown so much in the past years as a father , rapper , and as a human and I’m still growing ..So thank u for being on this journey with me ..to my family and friends thank u for being patient with me at times when it was tough ..Aight imma go cry now…”
