Griselda-ikonen Westside Gunn är återigen tillbaka med ett album över 21 låtar med massor av tunga gäster som RZA, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher, J.I.D., DJ Drama, Giggs, Ty Dolla $ign, Denzel Curry, Stove God Cooks, Tay Keith, Boldy James, EST Gee och Rome Streetz. Produktion tillhandahålls av Daringer, Conductor Williams, Beat Butcha med flera.

Omslaget till det nya albumet är skapat av den avlidna mode-ikonen Virgil Abloh, vilket även var fallet med skivan “Pray For Paris”. I ett pressmeddelande säger Westside Gunn:

“I have Virgil Abloh doing my artwork and who left on earth can say that” Westside Gunn muses.  “I cannot disrespect his legacy, he’s immortal and I feel this is his way of blessing me; even though he’s not here in the physical.” 

Stora delar av den nya skivan är inspelad i Europa, där han kunnat folusera både på musik och olika designprojekt. Albumet har spelats in vid sessions i städer som Paris, Aten, London och Köpenhamn. Han berättar vidare:

“I’ve been living a healthy, sucka-free life, and it’s given me a new energy. I feel better than I ever have; stronger and smarter.  I’m the best curator in the game right now and that’s said by the who’s who—not me.  GOD is the greatest.  I love ya’ll.” 

Inför albumreleasen upprepar Westside Gunn att detta projekt blir hans sista i albumformat, men att det fortfarande kan komma nya EP-projekt och singlar framöver.

“I’m not saying I won’t come with a five-song EP with Madlib or I won’t do a seven-song EP with Alchemist or I won’t rap. I’ll do all of that, but making a studio album, I’m done with all that. It’s back to dumping until I don’t want to dump no more. I’m going to have fun now. It’s no more pressure.”
