Den jamaicanska reggaeartisten Chronixx har avslöjat att hans nästa album, titulerat “Dela Splash”, släpps senare i år. Projektet blir uppföljaren till 2017 års debutalbum “Chronology” som bland annat Grammy-nominerades i kategorin Best Reggae Album. Sedan dess har han bland annat hörts på Joey Bada$$ album “ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$” och flera låtar med UK-rapparen Little Simz.

I samband med nyheten om albumet släpps även den första singeln “Dela Move” tillsammans med en musikvideo. Till Billboard säger han om skivan:

“Dela Splash is like what I would do on a mixtape: exploring sounds limitlessly because you don’t have to worry about clearing samples, so you put everything you want on it and come up with a recipe for your next thing. I am looking at this long road ahead of producing, writing and making music and I’m not just going to do one-drop reggae or dancehall songs. Now is a good time to be authentic and explore all the music that I like.”
