Uppsala-baserade duon Professor P & DJ Akilles utannonserade häromveckan nya projektet ”The Tokyo Sessions” bestående av nio spår, där enda gästen är NYC-rapparen Your Old Droog. Detta kungörande följdes av deras nya videoskapelse “Michelangelo” inspelad i Tokyo. Deras skapande följer mer eller mindre samma formula som tidigare och ett pressutskick beskriver sitt senaste projekt:
”This project is a little jazzier than our earlier work. It is very headphone-friendly and the soundstage is more cohesive than it was on All Year, Every Year (2015). We chose to mix full-length tracks with interludes in hope to provide a session-like feeling to the music and to make the creative process different from how we normally approach new projects. We are very proud of how this turned out.”
