Nipsey Hussle, Hit-Boy, Dave East, Bun B och Xzibit gästar J. Stone på nytt albumprojekt

Los Angeles-rapparen J. Stone var under många år en nära vän, affärspartner och musikerkollega med Nipsey Hussle. Strax innan Nipseys för tidiga bortgång inspirerades J. Stone att börja ge ut en serie av mixtapes/albumprojekt i den så kallade “The Definition”-serien med skivorna “The Definition Of Loyalty” (2019), “The Definition Of Pain” (2020) och “The Definition of Sacrifice” (2022).

Crenshaw-rapparen har fortsatt vara produktiv och gav tidigare i år ut DJ Drama x Gangsta Grillz-mixtapet “Rollin Stone” med gäster som Curren$y, Young Dolph, Juicy J, Daz Dillinger, G-Perico och Stalley.

Som att det inte vore nog rundar J. Stone av 2023 med nytt albumprojekt – “The Definition of Success”. Den nysläppta skivan gästas av Nipsey Hussle, Hit-Boy, Dave East, Bun B, Trae Tha Truth, Xzibit, Dom Kennedy, Butch Cassidy och Neek Bucks. I ett pressmeddelande kommenterar han releasen:

“Everyone has their own definition of success, and if I were to give my definition, it would simply be me…”

J. Stone säger vidare:

“I was literally the BLACK SHEEP of my family. From foster homes to juvenile halls to county jail…everyone counted me out. Now, however, everyone has to RESPECTFULLY COUNT ME IN. This is more than an album. This is my story. It’s SHOWTIME and I’m PROUD OF ME.”
