I morse spred sig nyheten om att den legendariska battle-rapparen Akeem Mickens, mer känd som Tech 9, gått bort under helgen. Artisten, som inte ska bli ihopblandad med Tech N9ne, var respekterad och omtyckt vilket snabbt visade sig på sociala medier. Ett flertal stora namn inom hiphop-scenen skakades av nyheten och många vände sig till sina plattformar för att hedra hans minne och beklaga förlusten.
Kendrick Lamar är en av flera rappare som valde att uttala sig offentligt.

Än så länge är inte dödsorsaken känd men rapparen Buttah från The Block uttalade sig tidigare till XXL om omständigheterna kring den avlidne.
“Unfortunately we haven’t fully figured the cause of death. We are praying that it was natural causes. He had no signs of harm done to his body.”
