Efter ett fem år långt uppehåll (med undantag för låten “Nästan” som kom 2017) återvände DC Grimsta i fjol med två singlar under året. Idag släpps hans andra för 2021, denna gång i form av “Tetris” tillsammans med gamla TGR-kollegan Joakim Gissberg. Låten är producerad av Carl Caaviar och går att lyssna på nedan.

Kanye West var ute på X under påskhelgen och fick läsare av hans tweets att gnugga sig både en och två gånger i ögonen. Han skrev nämligen om hur han och hans kusin tagit homoerotiska porrtidningar från Kanyes mamma, och sedan försökt göra samma saker som de gjorde i tidningarna. Han förklarar på X att hans låt “COUSIN“ handlar om:
“This song is called COUSIN about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore. Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.” sedan fortsatte han med:
“My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different. My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins dick till I was 14. Tweet sent.”
Som om inte den bekännelsen var nog för att få många av läsarna att dubbelkolla sitt flöde så kom det mer.
“I changed my album name to CUCK.”
Redan dagen innan hade han dessutom varit ute och härjat mot Jay-Z om en rad på låten “Jail” där Jay rappar: “Hol’ up, Donda, I’m with your baby when I touch back road / Told him, ‘Stop all of that red cap, we goin’ home’”.
Kanye kommenterade:
“Why did Jay Z have to say ‘no red hat’ on ‘Jail.’ That shit tore me to my soul. We fought about it and he told me either leave that line on there or take my verse off.”
“Me wearing the red hat was the most stand out example of me going against ‘the program.’ Do you guys think he was instructed to say that?”
Vad tror ni? Blev Jay-Z tvungen till att ta upp Kanyes MAGA-period eller ville han bara ta ställning emot Trump?
