Atlanta-rapparen Bambu de Asiatic från Collective Efforts är aktuell med ett nytt albumprojekt, i samarbete med North Carolina-baserade Supastition. Den sistnämnde är själv känd som en MC av högsta kaliber, men har på senare tid lagt tid på att producera beats till sig själv och andra rappare. I ett utskick beskriver Supastition bakgrunden till projektet “Reclamation” som gästas av Ben Hameen, Dug Boogie, DJ Jon Doe med flera:
“Earlier this year, Supastition was recovering from a long bout with Covid-19. This temporarily left him unable to rap or record vocals so he shifted his focus to production. He began sending beats to his longtime friend, Bambu, who was a member of the popular Atlanta-based hip hop group, Collective Efforts. What started as a few rough ideas eventually became the Reclamation collaborative album. The two have worked together throughout the years but this marks their first project together.”
