Med drygt 20 år inom musikindustrin har Apathy sedan länge skapat en egen bana inom amerikansk undergroundrap, tillsammans med namn som Immortal Technique, Vinnie Paz och R.A. The Rugged Man. Efter sex album och otaliga mixtapes, EP:s och samlingsprojekt får vi nu Demigodz-rapparens sjunde album i ordningen: “Where the River Meets the Sea”.

“This album i just dropped… is the deepest music I’ve ever made – ever. The most pain I’ve ever felt in my life, went in to creating this. The most joy I’ve ever felt, went in to creating this. I cried a lot when I wrote these songs. I’m cool with saying that… cuz this is life. My father passing… and then me, becoming a father. Trying to become a better person, to raise two little beautiful humans. It made me wonder what my father was thinking and feeling when he raised me. So I wrote a lot of this, so one day my kids can listen back and have a little more insight in to what I was going through”, säger rapparen i ett uttalande.

Över 14 spår gästas Apathy av namn som Styles P, Lil Fame, Anoyd, Bennett och Pep Love och Tajai från The Hieroglyphics.
