Den amerikanska festivaljätten Rolling Loud intar i helgen hiphopkulturens födelseplats, New York City, för första gången. I en massiv hiphop-lineup noterar vi headliners som Travis Scott, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky och legendariska Wu-Tang Clan. De sistnämnda lanserar i samband med festivalhelgen en limiterad kapselkollektion med Wu-Tang Clan-merch. Råkar du befinna dig i New York City under dagen så bege dig till Manhattan’s Lower East Side och popup-butiken på Round Two (113 Stanton St.). Kollektion beskrivs i ett pressutskick enligt nedan:
“…will include hoodies, hats, t-shirts, socks, and more in multiple co-branded designs. The most unique item in the collection is a hooded windbreaker. With a throwback. block-letter design that recalls the street fashion of 1993, when Wu-Tang burst onto the scene, the windbreaker boasts a hood lined with 3M reflector tape–in photos taken with flash, the tape will obscure the wearer’s face in a way that evokes the iconic cover of the Clan’s debut album Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers.”
Festivalen Rolling Loud går av stapeln på Citi Field 12-13:e oktober och förutom ovan nämnda artister uppträder bland annat Young Thug, Juice WRLD, Playboi Carti, Pusha T, YG, DaBaby, Blueface, Polo G, Lil Mosey, Megan Thee Stallion, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, DMX, Fat Joe, Sheck Wes, Lil Tecca, Action Bronson, Fabolous, Lil TJay, Flipp Dinero, Young M.A., Dave East, Don Q, Pop Smoke, Casanova med flera.
