"70s innovation reimagined"

The North Face öppnar det nya året med att lansera en ny kapselkollektion inför våren, Ripstop Icons. Kollektionen är en ny take på The North Face populära 92 Nuptse, Denali-jackan och byxan. I ett pressutskick beskrivs den nya kollektionen:

“Inspired by unconventional problem solving and fostering the outsider spirit, Ripstop Icons takes us back to the beginnings of outdoor apparel. The collection honours the ‘dirtbag’ and renegade explorers of the world who repurposed post-war surplus materials to create more functional gear. In honour of this innovation, texture takes centre stage, with a military- inspired aesthetic and waxed-ripstop fabric.”

Vidare beskrivs plaggen:

“The waxed fabric outer adds robustness and elevated feel to the iconic silhouette whilst the woven in, tear-resistant grid pattern of the ripstop technology ensures durability that we expect from The North Face.”
