Tidigare under året har Action Bronson och New Balance släppt samarbetet “Baklava 990v6” till positiva omdömen. Inför 2024 lanserar nu Queens-rapparen och varumärket den nya New Balance 1906R-sneakern som benämns under produktnamne “Rosewater”. På Complex Sneaker Show avslöjade han även nyligen att den nya sneakern kommer i tre färgställningar under våren.
I en intervju med Sneaker Freaker berättade Bronsolini tidigare i år om sitt förhållande till New Balance sedan barnsben:
“My mother actually introduced me to New Balance shoes. She had them for orthopaedic reasons. I always liked them because they had the flashiness of the 3M. When you take pictures your feet are on fire. It was just a classic grey look. I’m a simple man.”
Han sa vidare:
“To be honest with you, no one was wearing them back in the day. There were a couple of stores in New York like Jimmy Jazz and VIM. They always had the New Balance 574s. No one really wanted them. They were viewed as trash. But then you started seeing more premium New Balance shoes in higher end, sporting stores.”
I dagsläget finns inget bekräftat releasedatum för Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R.
