Kendrick Lamar klar för festivalen Move Afrika i Rwanda – anordnas av Global Citizen och pgLang

I december kommer Kendrick Lamar agera headliner för det nya festivalkonceptet Move Afrika, som arrangeras av Global Citizen och hans egna plattform pgLang. Arrangemanget beskrivs vara “the opening event of a first-of-its-kind music tour across the continent of Africa.” och ska anordnas över en femårsperiod. Syftet är att skapa nya möjligheter på den afrikanska kontinenten vad gäller kultur, hälsa, socioekonomisk utveckling och att skapa arbetstillfällen.

“Move Afrika is a 5-year, large-scale effort to pioneer a first-of-its-kind international music tour throughout the continent of Africa. This annual series of live events will showcase the best of Africa to the world while also driving investments in the communities where they take place. Our hope is that people in each community where Move Afrika takes place experience skills training and job opportunity in the entertainment industry.”
