Festivalsäsongen och sommaren närmar sig med stormsteg, med musikfest på flera större festivaler över hela Norden. Roskilde Festival har sedan tidigare bokat in Kendrick Lamar, Burna Boy och Central Cee för att nämna några. Nu adderas en lång rad artister där vi bland annat noterar hiphoplegendaren Busta Rhymes. Arrangören beskriver hans musikgärning:

“The iconic rapper was already laying the foundations for a groundbreaking career in the 80s with New York collective Leaders of The New School, who became a hot name after Public Enemy took them on tour. However, the 90s was to be the defining decade for Rhymes, who released his solo album ‘The Coming’ in 1996, followed by a series of highly influential albums in the following years. Busta Rhymes has since been a force to be reckoned with in hip-hop and a name that has been a major inspiration for the likes of Eminem and Kendrick Lamar. “

Samtidigt presenteras ytterligare ett stort antal akter där vi kan notera artister som Lizzo, D-Block Europe, Latto och Loyle Carner med flera.
