Tidigare idag kunde vi rapportera om att Faith Evans diskuterade sin kommande skiva “The King & I” med Notorious B.I.G, i en intervju med Dame Dash. I intervjun bekräftade hon även planer på att skapa ett Biggie-hologram samt en “Bad Boy”-återföreningsturné.
Hurvida en mer omfattande turné blir av är oklart – men nu bekräftas att att en spelning kommer hållas i New York City den 20:e maj på Barclays Center i New York City. Spelningen benämns “Biggie Birthday Bad Boy Reunion Concert ” och under spelningen kommer Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, Lil’ Kim, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112 och Mario Winans uppträda. Även JAY Z och Mary J. Blige kommer medverka under spelningen.
Sean “Diddy” Combs säger i ett uttalande:
“This isn’t just another concert — This is hip-hop history, The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. Also, we are celebrating one of the greatest of all time – Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can’t wait to see you all there.”
