Se trailer och premiärdatum för Netflix-filmen “White Noise” – med Adam Driver, Don Cheadle och André 3000 i roller

I slutet av augusti, samma dag som premiären på filmfestivalen i Venedig, kom rapporter om att André 3000 fått en roll i Noah Baumbachs kommande satirfilm “White Noise” (svensk titel “Vitt Brus”). I filmen syns Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig och Don Cheadle i huvudrollerna och storyn är baserad på 1987 års roman av Don DeLillo med samma namn.

Filmen kretsar kring en hyllad professor vid namn Jack Gladney, spelad av Driver, och händelserna som följer när en kemikalieläcka sker i hans hemstad. Detta med inslag av osäkerheten som präglar verkliga livet.

“I read Don DeLillo’s novel in college in the late 1980s, and it felt like now, or the now of then. It captured perfectly the absurdity, horror and madness of America at that time. I reread it again in the early months of 2020 and it felt like now. But the now of now. A few weeks later, the world shut down. I set to adapting the book because I wanted to make a movie that felt as crazy as the world appeared to me. It’s a portrait of a country but it’s also a story of a family, of the chaos they try to hide, of the disasters that befall them, of the way they come together and survive”, har Baumbach tidigare sagt i ett uttalande.
