Till vårkanten får den nya storfilmen “Godzilla vs. Kong” premiär i USA. Filmprojektet följer upp 2017 års “Kong: Skull Island” och “Godzilla: King of Monsters” från 2019. I filmen medverkar skådespelare som Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3) och Alexander Skarsgård. Svensken spelar Nathan Lind, en geolog som studerar Kong.

“Legends collide in Godzilla vs. Kong as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.”

Filmen har premiär på HBO Max 26 mars 2021 och på utvalda biografer. Det är oklart när filmen visas på svenska biografer, något som säkerligen påverkas av coronapandemins restriktioner under våren.

HBO Max ska lanseras i Sverige under andra halvan av 2021, vilket innebär att nuvarande HBO Nordic ska uppgraderas till den nya streamingtjänsten.
