Inför premiären av den tredje säsongen av “BMF”, exekutivt producerad av 50 Cent, fick vi i december en första glimt av ett antal nya ansikten på rollistan. Bland de första bilderna från säsongen fick vi rapparna Lil Baby, Saweetie och 2 Chainz tillsammans med “Real Housewives of Atlanta”-bekantingen Cynthia Bailey.
Sedan tidigare står det även klart att Ne-Yo medverkar i den nya säsongen som Greeny och 2 Chainz spelar Stacks. Lil Baby ska spela karaktären Payne, en av Stacks fotsoldater, medan Saweetie tar sig an rollen som forne atleten Keeya.
Under veckoslutet släpptes även den officiella trailern för tredje säsongen och handlingen beskrivs så här:
“…continues the storyline of the inspiring true legends of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who fostered one of the most influential crime families in the country known as, Black Mafia Family. We parachute into the early 90s in Season 3 with Meech moving to Atlanta, where he hopes to build upon the BMF empire in the south that he and Terry fostered in Detroit and rise to the top of the Atlanta drug scene. At the same time, Terry remains in the “D” to handle business. Charles Flenory (Russell Hornsby) and Lucille Flenory’s (Michole Briana White) marriage remains on the rocks, and Detective Bryant (Steve Harris) and Detective Jin (Kelly Hu) return as partners often on opposite sides of the law who find common ground in their determination to take down BMF.”
Den senaste säsongen av “BMF” kommer att utspela sig under tidigt 90-tal och fortsätta historien om Flenory-familjen med premiär den 1 mars 2024 via Starz. Se trailer nedan!
