HBO-serien “House of the Dragon” avslutas med säsong fyra. Det står klart kort efter att säsongsfinalen av den andra säsongen släpptes natten till måndag, svensk tid.
Uppgifterna kommer från betrott håll, nämligen av medskaparen och showrunnern Ryan Condal. Han avslöjade också att inspelningen av säsong tre kan påbörjas tidigt nästa år. Det är ännu oklart hur många avsnitt man tänker göra.
“I haven’t had discussions with HBO about it. I would just anticipate the cadence of the show, from a dramatic storytelling perspective, will continue to be the same from Season 2 on”, uppgav Condal.
Men “Game of Thrones”-fantaster behöver inte oroa sig för att bli utan underhållning framöver, då en ny serie baserad på George R.R. Martins roman “The Hedge Knight” har bekräftats vara på gång. Serien “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” – som precis som “House of the Dragon” utspelar sig innan händelserna i “Game of Thrones” – ska få premiär under 2025.
I en beskrivning av handlingen går att läsa:
“A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.”
